Gain more training and competition experience with this program which is the next step from the Future Stars program. You may be able to enter this program from a Recreational Program depending on your skills, experience and mental readiness.
Gymnasts in this program learn two to three solo routines for competition in Interclub, Level 1 or Level 2. Your coach will decide which is the right level for your age, ability, and experience.
The focus is working towards personal goals, competitions and performance. Train 4+ hours a week (recommended 2-3 classes per week that are at 2 hours long depending on gymnast’s individuals goals) to build upon key elements: body, apparatus, mind, performance, competition, team and community. Participate in competitions within BC. Mondays and Saturdays are considered core days with the option to add Wednesdays as a third day.
Gymnasts will also perform at community and gala events. Build sportsmanship and create friendships! This program runs for 10 months from September to June, ending with a Year End Show in June. There is also a winter show in December and a spring show in March.
Choose to do 2 or 3 days/week. There is an annual registration fee for gymnasts in this class.There is also a uniform for training and traveling. Gymnasts must have their own equipment (rope, ball, toe shoes), yoga mat, and their own competition bodysuit(s).
