Kristy

She started as a gymnast with this club under Barb Bishop in the 80s and went on to be a National level gymnast. She coached with the club from 2000-2006 and after a break for school,  travel, and work, returned to the club in 2015. Today she is the head coach working with all the coaches on planning and delivering programs and helping the board with projects such as our new facility. She is a Level 3 trained and certified coach by BC Rhythmic Gymnastics Federation. - Head Coach

Anais

She competed as a National level gymnast for almost 10 years. She had many awards in provincial, national, and international competitions. She has been coaching for 9 years and judging for 5 years both in recreational and competitive levels. She is a trained and certified coach in Level 2 and a Provincial Level judge certified by Turkish Gymnastics Federation. She is a Level 3 trained and Level 1 certified coach by BC Rhythmic Gymnastics Federation. She also has a Bachelor’s of Education Degree.- Competitive Coach

Jinayah

She has been a part of the club for 14 years. She started as a gymnast and competed for 6 years. She began coaching 2 years ago. Thanks to her background not only in rhythmics, but also in dance she has put in lots of effort in choreographing routines for our recreational and competitive gymnasts. She is a Level 2 trained coach by BC Rhythmic Gymnastics Federation.- Competitive Team Coach

Carly

She has been involved in rhythmic gymnastics since 1998, when she started in performance classes at the age of two. She competed until 2013 and began coaching in 2014. What Carly loves the most about coaching is being able to see the gymnasts achieve new skills and continue to improve. She is a Level 2 trained and Level 1 certified coach by BC Rhythmic Gymnastics Federation. - Pre-Competitive Team Coach

Madison

She was a gymnast for 13 years and she is excited for her first year of coaching. Her favourite apparatus is hoop. Thanks to gymnastics, she feels lucky that she has been able to travel around the world to Finland and Austria to perform. She is a Level 1 trained and certified coach by BC Rhythmic Gymnastics Federation. - Performance and Recreational Team Coach

Rachel

She started rhythmic gymnastics as soon as she could walk, around age 2-3. She trained and competed for 11 years. After ceasing her training, she started helping as an assistant coach, moving up to teach her own classes. She has had the privilege of teaching all ages groups during her nearly 10 years as a coach. She strives to create a fun yet challenging learning environment for her gymnasts. - Pre-Competitive Team Coach

Leanne

She came to the club in 2009 as the club's ballet coach. She has ballet training in RAD and Cecchetti syllabuses as well as training in Latin, Filipino, and many other cultural dance arts. Leanne is based in Vancouver and is currently a community marketing specialist for a natural wellness company. She is excited to be a part of the 2020/2021 season and is looking forward to taking the club to the 2023 World Gymnaestrada in Amsterdam. Leanne has a Bachelor of Education degree and active teaching certification with the BC Ministry of Education. -Performance Team Coach

Erica

She started coaching in 2016 and have coached Sparkles, Pizzazz, Mini-Stars, and Future Stars in the past few years. She was a recreational gymnast. She started rhythmic gymnastics when she was 7 years old with Ultra Rhythmics in Richmond BC and practiced for 10 years before moving away for university. Some of her best memories growing up were of her time in the gym- practicing, performing and just spending time with gymnastics family. She hopes to bring the same positive energy to all our classes and always aim to create a fun, motivating, and memorable experience for our gymnasts.- Performance Team Coach
